Letters from the Administration
February 03, 2025
Dear Y.A.L.E. School Community,
The Y.A.L.E. Schools are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students and families. We do not accept any policies or actions that threaten the well-being of our students. To our immigrant families, Y.A.L.E. School sees you as valued and accepted members of our school community. Your children belong here. Our diversity is our greatest strength. Together, we will work to ensure every student feels supported and empowered to achieve their dreams.
Please be assured that schools are not required to provide information about students’ attendance, or locations, or make students available on the spot, without the opportunity to consult with legal counsel. We will continue to work to minimize any school disruptions and provide an atmosphere where every child feels safe and secure.
Thank you for your continued support and commitment to our shared mission of putting students first.

Dear Y.A.L.E. Community,
We have obtained information from the authorities that we would like to share with you to further ease any lingering concerns. Investigators determined that the threat we received early Monday was sent from an IP address in Great Britain. The phone number of the account holder was in Austria. Police have determined that no further action is needed related to this threat.
Our security team, like those in school districts across the country, continually monitors information and communication. Our protocols are designed to efficiently assess credibility with the assistance of local police and avoid school disruption, as we have for many years. The unprecedented complexity of Monday’s circumstances resulted in the exception. Parent response was supportive, immediate, and greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Y.A.L.E. School Administration
October 7, 2024
Dear Y.A.L.E. Community,
We would like to give you additional information regarding school closures that affected Y.A.L.E. Schools today with the exception of programs located in Medford and Mullica Township.
Y.A.L.E. received a non-specific threat before the start of the school day that administration immediately directed to our local law enforcement officials. Each school has a Memorandum of Understanding with local police departments that enables school administrators to obtain immediate feedback and guidance. Based on discussions with police contacts, Y.A.L.E. administration concluded that out of an abundance of caution, all Y.A.L.E. programs would be closed for the day.
We recognize that any unexpected school closing is difficult for families. Thank you for your understanding and know that all of us at Y.A.L.E. are grateful to you for valuing the well-being of our school community, despite the inconvenience today’s closure may have presented.
We will welcome our staff and students back tomorrow, Tuesday, October 8th. Please note that we have requested increased police presence in order to provide further assurance to our staff and students.
Sincerely,
Y.A.L.E. School Administration
