PHOTOS: Green Tech Activity Lab students assemble some seasonal cheer

Greetings from GTAL at the Ellisburg Campus!

It’s been a busy holiday season, here at Green Tech Activity Lab! The students have really outdone themselves with several special seasonal projects, while managing their normal workload. Along with taking some time out of their busy schedules to wrap some gifts for staff members, our Green Tech students assembled the Y.A.L.E. School Voorhees campus’s “Candy Cane Gram” fundraisers. The students practiced their dexterity by meticulously tying ribbons to candy canes in order to attach them to holiday greeting notes.

As if those projects weren’t enough to put the “HO HO HO” in the holiday season, we undertook a large fundraising project ourselves! The students prepared and assembled over 60 hand-filled holiday ornaments, which were sold to parents and students at our Audubon campus. The students put their measuring and fine motor skills to the test, and met the unexpectedly high demand for these ornaments on deadline. With this project, we able to get a good jumpstart in raising the funds for our the annual Y.A.L.E. School Spring Prom!
