Y.A.L.E. School Northfield Campus Moving to 100% Remote Learning Beginning Monday, January 25, 2021

Dear Parents & Guardians:

Y.A.L.E. School monitors conditions daily and conscientiously adheres to the COVID-19 protocols required by state public health and education officials.  Despite our extensive precautionary measures, circumstances again necessitate that we return to 100% remote learning at the Northfield campus.

The decision to do so was a difficult one requiring careful consideration of many factors including additional reports by the New Jersey Department of Health that confirm that the current activity level remains at high risk, trends in counties where students and staff reside, quarantine requirements, staffing, and behavioral challenges that may require closer student/staff proximity. Consequently, we will act with an abundance of caution bytransitioning to 100% remote learning as follows:

Effective Monday, January 25, 2021, the Y.A.L.E. School Northfield campus will become 100% remote until further notice.  100% remote hours are 8:45 am – 2:30 pm.

Y.A.L.E. will continue to monitor community health conditions and strive to make the best decisions possible with the information available in the coming weeks.  The status of this situation is fluid and our campus plans may need to be revised further based on state announcements or other considerations.

As always, we appreciate the support and cooperation of our Y.A.L.E. School family. We especially acknowledge your patience and understanding as we make these weighty decisions.  Should you have questions or concerns, or need technical support for remote learning, our homeroom teachers will direct your request to the individual on the Y.A.L.E. team that can best assist you.  We look forward to reuniting our staff and students as soon as safely possible.

Sincerely,

The Y.A.L.E. School Administrative Team
